This vent is not rated for dryer ventilation, the screen will trap lint and could create a fire risk. Quality constructed from heavy duty 28 gauge galvanized steel. The FAMCO SDWVG wall vent includes a ¼ inch mesh screen to prevent duct intrusion by foreign objects, as well as a built-in hinged backdraft damper.
